After reading this article on the Baltimore Schools making Mondays meatless, I half joked to my boyfriend that I was going to try to go vegetarian (for the supposed health and environmental reasons) for a few weeks. Without even pausing, he told me I was going to fail.
I love meat. Most of my favorite foods involve beef or pork products. I love burgers. Love them.
But telling me I'm doomed for failure is an excellent motivator. So here I chronicle my adventures in vegetarianism ... for however long it lasts.
Tonight's dinner: Risotto cakes (I have leftover risotto from Sunday).
Tomorrow: Chole. Delicious chickpea curry (I plan on cheating a bit and using canned chickpeas...and possibly my crockpot)
